Switzerland has concluded trainee exchange agreements with various countries in order to enable young professionals (trainees) to expand their occupational and linguistic skills to Switzerland. These agreements with the following countries simplify the process for obtaining a Swiss residence and work permit that is not dependent on the labour market situation. One of these countries is the Philippines. Under this Agreement, any young professional who is of Filipino nationality can come to Switzerland and work in the field of their college degree for a period of 18 months.
Your Qualification: These are the qualifications of a suitable candidate for the Filipino Trainees Program (Stagiaires): • Filipino citzen • 18 to 35 years old (Art. III of the Agreement) • Completed secondary or tertiary education (vocational training, apprenticeship, university degree, advanced technical college degree or university of applied science degree) • The Trainee must be physically fit and mentally fit and of good moral character (trainee has no derogatory/criminal records). For this purpose, the applicant trainees shall be required to present Clearance Certificate from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). • The Trainee assignment has to take place in a work context related to the completed education (Article 11.1 of the Agreement • Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience. Certificates of Employments must be presented • Undergone and passed up to B2 level of German with certificates • Passed the B2 level of qualifying examination at Goethe Institute or any equivalent German language school • Hardworking, flexible, able to cope with the stress of a new culture and foreign work environment • With happy disposition and pleasant personality

As a Stagiaire you benefit from an 18 months contract (extension is not possible). With this contract you receive the following basic benefits: • You are entitled to a monthly salary that can range from CHF 4’000 to 5’000 depending on which Canton you will be working • You will work on shifts at a 40-hour a week plan • Equal monthly contribution to a Pension fund (which you can get in full after the completion of the contract) Other benefits differ from different employers.
